Terms and Conditions
Last updated 28 August 2026
These terms govern enrolment in BrainoMate's online Abacus, Vedic Maths and Handwriting classes and use of the BrainoMate practice app and website. By enrolling a child or using the app, the enrolling parent or guardian agrees to these terms.
1. Who can enrol
Courses are designed for children aged 6 to 14. A parent or legal guardian must complete the enrolment and payment on the child's behalf, and is responsible for the accuracy of the details submitted and for the child's conduct in class.
2. The service
Each level consists of live online classes with a teacher over Google Meet, in a small batch, plus daily practice in the BrainoMate app. Course content, levels, class counts and fees are as described on the course pages at the time of enrolment. We may update the app, class format or teaching materials to improve the course, without reducing what a level covers.
3. Fees and payment
Fees are charged per level (or per month for Handwriting Improvement) at the price shown at checkout, and are payable in full at enrolment through our payment gateway. A seat is confirmed once payment is successful. Refunds are handled under our separate Refund and Cancellation Policy.
4. Waitlist
If no batch is open for a course, or you would rather wait for a timing that suits you, you can join the waitlist instead of paying. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and does not reserve or confirm a seat. By joining, you ask us to contact you about a batch preference and you agree to receive messages from us — by WhatsApp, phone or email — telling you when a suitable new batch opens. You can leave the waitlist at any time by telling us on any of those channels. A seat is confirmed only once payment for an open batch is completed under section 3.
5. Attendance and conduct
Classes run on the batch timing chosen at enrolment. If a class is missed, tell the teacher and we will fit the child into another batch at the same level, or share the recording. We expect a respectful learning environment in every session; a teacher may end a session or a parent's access if this is not maintained.
6. The app and accounts
Every enrolled student receives a login to the BrainoMate app for daily practice, assignments and internal tests. The login is for that student only. Keep login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your child's account. Live classes run on Google Meet, which has its own terms and privacy policy that also apply while using it.
7. Intellectual property
All course material, worksheets, videos, the app and its content, and the BrainoMate name and logo are owned by BrainoMate. Enrolment gives your child a personal, non-transferable licence to use this material for learning. Copying, reselling or redistributing course material or app content is not permitted.
8. Certificates and results
A digital certificate is issued after the final exam of a level, based on the student's performance in that exam. We do not guarantee a specific score, school result, or outcome in any external competition or exam.
9. Limitation of liability
BrainoMate is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the classes, the app or the website, including loss caused by internet outages, third-party platform downtime (such as Google Meet), or a device or connection issue on the family's side. Our liability for any claim is limited to the fee paid for the affected level.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always posted on this page with its last updated date. Continued enrolment after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
